Ripon Triathlon Festival – July
We are proud to host the popular Ripon Triathlon Festival each year, and 2025 will see us partnering with The Brownlee Foundation for the 2nd year running and we’re excited to build on the success of 2024.
Offering Sprint and Standard racing for Seniors as well as open water swims. The Ripon Junior Triathlon offers racing for all age groups from Tristart to Youth. We are the only open water swim event in the Yorkshire Junior Series, we feature as part of the North East Junior Series as well.
The 2025 event will be held on 12th/13th July
Listening to the feedback from 2024, we have moved the Senior racing to Sunday to benefit from quieter roads and have increased our Traffic Management, specifically on junctions, to give safer and more seamless racing.

Club Duathlons
The Duathlons are back!
We hold 3 events early in the season to get the blood pumping and meet some like-minded folk, whether it’s to compete or to enjoy a really good brick training session then these are for you.

A BTF Race Pass (£8) will need to be purchased if you do not hold a BTF Membership.
Junior Club Championships
Throughout the summer season we host our Junior Club Champs. These are a fantastic opportunity to experience an open water event without the pressure, and practice those race skills that are often overlooked – removing wetsuit, racking bikes in transition amongst others.
There is no experience needed or expectation to do these events if your child is nervous about competing or open water swimming. We just provide a safe environment and the support and encouragement they need to give it a try.
We typically hold two Duathlons and two Triathlons on Club nights with the Ripon Junior Triathlon on 12th/13th July featuring as one of the events.

Socials
Early Season Social – Thursday May 22nd , 6-8.30pm
We will be hosting an early season social at Ripon Racecourse Lake, where you can come down for a swim and a chat with fellow members (or just a chat!). Food and hot drinks are available to buy with all proceeds going to the Girl Guides.
If you are not a member yet and would like to come down and find out what we are all about, then please come down where you will receive a warm welcome.
End of Season Prize Giving – Sunday September 21st, 12-4pm
We hold our End of Season Prize Giving for members and their families. We award not only our Club Champs winners, but even more importantly we celebrate effort, attitude and attendance.
Food, drink and entertainment is provided and we would love to see you there!
This year’s Prize-giving will be held at Ripon Racecourse, in the Claro Bar on Sunday 21st September 12-4pm. Come on down to join in the fun!
