Ripon Triathlon 2025
Ripon Triathlon Festival
We are proud to host the popular Ripon Triathlon Festival each year, and 2026 will see us partnering with The Brownlee Foundation for the 3rd year running. Following the success of the last two years, we are thrilled to be hosting a European Sprint Qualifying event in 2026.
Offering Sprint and Standard racing for Seniors as well as open water swims. The Ripon Junior Triathlon offers racing for all age groups from Tristart to Youth. We are the only open water swim event in the Yorkshire Junior Series, and also feature as part of the North East Junior Series as well.
The 2026 event will be held on 11th & 12th July
We are building on the success of the last two years and excited for our plans to make 2026 even bigger and better – watch this space!

Club Duathlons
The Duathlons are back!
We hold 3 events early in the season to get the blood pumping and meet some like-minded folk, whether it’s to compete or to enjoy a really good brick training session then these are for you.

A BTF Race Pass (£8) will need to be purchased if you do not hold a BTF Membership.
Junior Club Championships
Throughout the summer season we host our Junior Club Champs. These are a fantastic opportunity to experience an open water event without the pressure, and practice those race skills that are often overlooked – removing wetsuit, racking bikes in transition amongst others.
There is no experience needed or expectation to do these events if your child is nervous about competing or open water swimming. We just provide a safe environment and the support and encouragement they need to give it a try.
We typically hold two Duathlons and two Triathlons on Club nights with the Ripon Junior Triathlon featuring as one of the events.

We are looking at date for pre-season drinks and to get excited for the year ahead!
We also hold an early season BBQ lakeside after one of the swimming sessions – watch this space for more details.
End of Season Prize Giving – 2026 date TBC
We hold our End of Season Prize Giving for members and their families. We award not only our Club Champs winners, but even more importantly we celebrate effort, attitude and attendance.
Food, drink and entertainment is provided and we would love to see you there!
